From 46% to 18% Body Fat and A Six pack

I am going to tell you a story of a lady who finally reached her goal of having a six pack…
Yenifer started with us in the year 2020 with more than 46% body fat. She started being motivated and disciplined for the first months. In the beginning she got excellent results reaching down to 27% body fat in around 6 months.
But it was not easy for her. I remember in those days I had to be really strict with her…
She started missing sessions here and there and she will eat the wrong foods once in a while. But it won’t matter what I tell her about missing sessions and eating the wrong foods she will continue missing sessions and eating the wrong food.

But I am always thinking of ways to motivate people to reach their desired goals…
So I had a plan. Many times Yenifer will complain about the last part of the stomach that she wanted to lose. So I used that to motivate her to do the right thing. Every time Yenifer will complaint about her stomach I reminded her about the sessions that she was missing and the wrong foods that she was eating.
Results don’t care if you are in your period, if you are sick, if you are hurting or whatever is your reason to not attend your sessions. If you want results, you must stay disciplined with your consistency in your program. Period.
Same goes with your food. If you eat junk food it will affect your results. Yes, eating junk food once in a while is better than eating junk food everyday. But it still affects your results.
So when Yenifer complained about her stomach I told her to keep in mind that when she wanted to miss her session or eat junk food…

After a few months, somehow, Yenifer understood what I was telling her and she finally kept eating healthy and attending her sessions no matter the consequences. She became set to her program and goals.
Every time someone signs up to CBF and it is his or her goal to tone his or her body, I let them know that to tone their body they need to be consistent, disciplined and patient. You don’t tone your body in a couple of months unless you are doing drugs.
Yenifer got to 26% body fat in less than a year. Then she got pregnant, continued exercising during her pregnancy, but gained some fat due to pregnancy, lost the fat after her pregnancy and finally after two years of her pregnancy, she got her body toned and her six pack.

Something similar happened to me on my journey…
It took me 3 years before I could completely tone my body and be happy with the results. In the same way as Yenifer I had my struggles and learned about bad habits I had and I needed to replace. Fast forward 20 years later I continue improving my habits and continue being disciplined to continue to have a toned and healthy body.
My point here is that if your goal is to tone your body, you need to be motivated enough to spend years being disciplined, consistent and of course patient keeping in mind that you are going to fight yourself in changing some habits that you know that need to be changed and you will be resistant until you understand that is stopping you from achieving your goals.
